The EEES (European Higher Education Area) highlights the importance of guidance as a key element in university education. Academic tutoring is an instrument that allows the performance of the orientation process. It is an educational guiding and comprehensive support process developed by university faculty. Its objective is to facilitate all the necessary tools and assistance to the students in order to successfully achieve all the academic, personal and professional objectives that the university presents. The tutorials in this context, are a holistic learning method in the course plan of the new degrees and have a crucial role to individualize, monitor and evaluate the autonomous work of the student. Considering this, the School of Architecture has designed its own tutorial action plan in order to provide a response to the need for orientation of its students.
